I've been trading for many years and i can say there are easier ways to use Fib's. Fib's, like alot of technical analysis tools are very subjective in nature. Trying to follow someone elses subjective use of an already subjective tool is difficult, which is why i gave it 3 stars.
Although there is not much inside to say, but if you really want to know more or at least what is out there about Fibonacci analysis this is the book. I wanted to rate it 4 but I think 3 is good enough for it :).
Conni is awsome, inspiring, insightful.Power-packed concentrated book.Takes focus on readers part.No-problem if you are highly motivated.Need to come in with understanding of trading essentials though.Only improvement I would make is to have more detailed outlines in each chapter.Luck to all.-Joe
Hi All,I bought this book with a lot of expectations after i have read the enthusiastic responses And I have to say I was disappointed. This is after I have read some trading books in the past.the flaws I found and why I think that is not such a great book after all:1)The author writing style is clumsy and hard to follow, she seems to knowA lot but scatter the ideas all along the book.2) The pictures in the book are in horizontal layout, that making the readVery hard , since you have to follow the points in chart, but the chart in notIn front of your eyes and you have to twist the book every time.3)There is a lot of material in the book that seem not concern with trading,Yes, I know where the author is coming from (Fibonacci idea ), but there some chapters that can beSkipped and you will not miss any important thing.4)As many has wrote, this is not a beginner book, I would recommend to read first,Carolyn boroden books ,"Fibonacci trading how to master the time and price advantage"it's much better book in any of the aspects above.5)In some graphs she explain with detail (in the start) after that you find yourself breakingThe head why that. she doesn't repeat the all process, which can help in some points. You have to be very intelligent and with will to learn this book in order to get the "pearls",Out of it.i think that there are much better books on the subject.Thank you, I hope you make the right decision, this is only my opinion.Avi.
However, she does a lot more than that. Prepare to have to work, it's small but extremely intensive, be ready to spend a lot of time dissecting charts. This book is easily worth its weight in gold. Though focused on trading, Ms. However, it's worth it. The author does an incredible job of taking a fairly challenging concept and breaking it down, literally almost reading your mind and answering virtually every question you might have, with enough charts and a glossary to provide at least a basic understanding of this extremely powerful, underrated tool. Brown but can't help pointing out how history, the natural world (to include space and time) and markets all complement each other - in other words, how inseperable in fact they are. Besides just making anybody that reads and digests this book better at trading, I think it's fair to assume it will also force them to look at markets (and nautilus shells) a little differently.
